MASTERS RACING TECHNICAL FREE SKIING
Designed for advanced skiers and Masters racers, this 6-week program will focus on improving your stance and balance, carving, and overall skill development which will make you a much more confident skier in all conditions and terrain.
Sessions will be held at Summit West on Thursdays, dates to be determined based upon area operating schedule.
Deadline for registration is November 21, 2025
Program Cost: $600
MASTERS RACE TRAINING
This season-long training program for Masters racers will focus on developing the correct technical skills to improve skiing precision and speed. Using stubbies, long gates, and video analysis you will be better prepared for racing.
Sessions will held at Summit West on Wednesdays and Sundays, dates to be determined based upon area operating schedule.
Deadline for registration is November 21, 2025
Program Cost: $1,500 - Wed/Sun, $750 - 1 day only
DECEMBER TECHNICAL TRAINING
Designed for advanced skiers and Masters racers, this 2-day program will focus on improving your stance and balance, carving, and overall skill development which will make you a much more confident skier in all conditions and terrain.
Sessions will held on consecutive mid-week days at Mission Ridge, dates and times to be determined based upon area operating schedule.
Deadline for registration is November 21, 2025
Program Cost: $300
PRIVATE LESSONS
We offer one-on-one private instruction for those skiers and racers looking to make great strides in their skiing in a more private and focused setting. Instruction can address any topic ranging from general improvement to skiing in bumps and powder.
These lessons will be scheduled at mutually agreeable times.
Lesson Cost: $175 per hour

BOOT FITTING
Worried that you're buying the wrong boot? We have decades of experience helping skiers of all ages and abilities select the ski boot that best matches their unique anatomy and ability. Come to us either before or after you buy, and we can test the fit and steer you in the right direction.
CUSTOM ORTHOTICS
Nearly every skier will ski better with a custom-built orthotic. We have worked with hundreds of skiers of all types ranging from FIS racers beginning skiers building orthotics that will improve balance, stance and ski performance.
SKI TUNING AND MAINTENANCE
Maximize your ski performance by keeping your skis tuned to perfection. Employing the same tuning techniques as World Cup ski techs, we will tune your skis so they provide better grip, stability and glide.

Steve Forsythe
DirectorSteve is director of the program and head coach. He has trained national level racers and achieved USSS Level 300 certification.
Jules Cowles
Assistant Director, Women's Technical ProgramJules is a Masters racer and works specifically with our women's program. She is USSS Level 100 certified.
Linda Peterson
TrainerLinda has worked with the program since inception and specializes in coaching women. She is USSS Level 100 certified.
Jim Smith
TrainerJim is a former racer and outstanding coach. He has both PSIA Level III and USSS Level 100 certifications.
Gordy Bolstad
TrainerGordy is a former racer and Europa Cup coach. He also was the director of the Snoqualmie Valley Academy program.
Mike Kvietkus
TrainerMike is a Masters racer and coach who has graduated from our program. He is USSS Level 100 certified.
Dean Guyer
TrainerDean is a Masters racer and coach and graduated from our program. He is USSS Level 100 certified.
Peter Christian
TrainerPeter is a nationally ranked Masters racer and coach. He is USSS Level 100 certified.
Mike McKimson
TrainerMike is an outstanding instructor who works in our private lesson program. He has both PSIA Level III and USSS Level 100 certifications.
